10k (or 30k?) Delta SkyBonus for a Survey – Check your email

Just got an email from Delta’s SkyBonus program offering 10k Skybonus points for taking a 15 minute survey and it appears that at least one person at FT got a 30k offer. Definitely appears worthwhile to check your email if you participate in SkyBonus.

Be aware that Skybonus is the rewards program for businesses and is separate and complementary to a SkyMiles account.  I tend to value SkyBonus points around 1/3rd of a Skymile so this isn’t lucrative but, at least for me, it pushes me across the 100k threshold where I could pick up a year of Skyclub membership.  And since they expire after 3 years, it’s definitely a program you want to earn and burn reasonably quickly.

The email includes language indicating that the survey link is unique to your account so it can’t be shared.  The survey itself is pretty quick and definitely worth the time if you received the offer.

I checked the FlyerTalk thread and it looks like SB2012NEW is still working and awards 25k for signing up, if you don’t have an account already. You may also pick up 2k via doing a few online training courses once your account is created. In the past, I’ve seen targeted 50k offers and even bumped my own bonus up to that. My most lucrative Amex Delta Platinum offers with 15k MQM’s have also come via Skybonus however it’s been a while since I saw one. It’s a good program to be a member of. Also be aware that Skybonus is run by a small group and I’ve been questioned a bit about my business after emailing them about the bonus bump. Given that it’s such a small group managing it, be aware that you may not fly under the radar as easily.

  1. Can anyone sign up for a skybonus account? If I sell things on Ebay does that qualify me to have a SkyBonus Account?

    1. It does require a VAT number or Tax ID. I’m not certain whether a SSN will work however the FT thread may have more info. It also doesn’t really hurt to try but as I noted in the now-updated post above, it’s run by a relatively small group and I’m pretty sure account approvals are a manual process so it might be a little harder to fly under the radar.

  2. Sweet – I just checked my junk mail and there it was. Thanks for the tip!
